THE PYRAMID BOOTLEG SCHEME
NEWS: SINGER HIRED, FIRED, UNCOVERS BOOTLEG OPERATION
TAMPA, FL - This summer, Hell On Earth singer BillY Tourtelot devoted his
time teaching art to mentally and physically challenged adults at Pyramid
Incorporated. Tourtelot was hired as management and took the title of
Visual Arts Coordinator. Though he had exceeded all expectations and made
breakthrough progress with his students, he was terminated after
supervisor Nancy Jordan learned he was in the band, Hell On Earth.
"This kind of discrimination is just despicable," Tourtelot said.
Even more despicable then their termination policy is Pyramid's apparent
involvement in a major motion picture piracy operation. Prior to being
terminated, Tourtelot was reevaluating his involvement with the company
after uncovering their illegal activities.
"After I witnessed Pyramid showing full-length bootlegs of movies like, I
ROBOT, at their facility, I knew something wasn't right. That movie just
came out at the theaters and they have it bootlegged on DVD. I had to ask myself, 'How can
I continue to work for a company that is involved with a major motion
picture piracy ring?'"
Tourtelot never had to make that decision for he was terminated within
days of witnessing the crimes.
Pyramid Inc. is currently the center of a MPAA (Motion Picture Association
of America) piracy investigation.
